Job Title: EEO Attorney (2 Openings)
Location: New York City (Hybrid – 3 days in office following training)

Bar Admission: Active New York State Bar admission required for both roles
Compensation:
<1 year post-bar: $40/hour
1–3 years post-bar: $52/hour
3–7 years post-bar: $56/hour
7+ years post-bar: $58/hour
Position 1: Short-Term EEO Attorney (3–6 Month Contract)
Overview:
A government agency is seeking a contract attorney to review and analyze completed EEO investigations and prepare detailed written reports of findings. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented attorney with strong writing skills and a commitment to fairness and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Review recorded interviews and investigative documentation
Summarize and assess facts in relation to applicable EEO laws and internal policies
Draft comprehensive, well-organized findings reports
Meet deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Qualifications:
Newly admitted attorneys encouraged to apply
Excellent legal writing, attention to detail, and analytical ability required
Familiarity with EEO law preferred but not required
Position 2: Long-Term EEO Investigations Attorney (6+ Months, Potential to Extend)
Overview:
A government agency is also seeking a long-term contract attorney to conduct EEO investigations from intake through resolution. This includes leading interviews, analyzing facts, and producing investigative reports with legal conclusions and recommendations. The role may include addressing requests for reasonable accommodations.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct interviews with complainants, respondents, and witnesses
Investigate claims of discrimination, harassment, and accommodation requests
Apply local, state, and federal EEO laws and agency policies
Draft reports, correspondence, and memos reflecting investigative findings
Qualifications:
2+ years of legal experience preferred, though candidates with relevant experience will be considered
Experience in internal investigations, fact-finding, or depositions is a strong plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
Ability to handle confidential matters with discretion and professionalism
