Associate Attorney

A mid-size Chicago-based insurance defense firm is seeking Associate Attorneys for its St. Louis office to support local and national accounts. This is a hands-on litigation role involving complex product liability, toxic tort, and professional/general liability matters.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage litigation files independently

Draft and respond to discovery

Conduct depositions and argue motions

Attend court hearings and prepare for trial

Maintain detailed time records and client communications

Qualifications:

JD from an accredited law school

4–8 years of litigation experience

Admitted to practice in Missouri (admission in IL, TX, IN, WI, MI, or IA a plus)

Strong writing, research, and deposition skills

Self-motivated with excellent organizational ability

Compensation: $90,000–$130,000 DOE, with eligibility for bonus and full benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match, PTO, parental leave, and more.
