Responsibilities
- Conducting legal assessments, analyzing risks, and assisting attorneys with strategies to navigate complex legal processes and mitigate potential challenges.
- Drafting, reviewing, and maintaining critical legal documents such as pleadings, discovery requests, contracts, and agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Managing case files by maintaining and updating legal documentation, tracking case progress, monitoring key deadlines, and ensuring compliance with governance requirements.
- Providing legal research and case law analysis to support attorneys in preparing for hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Assisting in the development of case strategies, reports, and communication plans to ensure efficient workflows and successful client outcomes.
Skills & Experience
- A Paralegal Certificate or equivalent legal training from an accredited institution is required.
- At least 1 year of experience supporting attorneys in litigation, including case management, legal research, and document preparation.
- Strong understanding of court procedures, legal terminology, and compliance requirements.
