B2B Credit & Collections Specialist Location: Westbury, NYJob Type: PermWork Schedule: Fully Onsite, Monday–FridayPermanent Salary: $60,000–$65,000 per yearAbout the OpportunityWe are partnering with a growing company in Westbury, NY that is seeking an experienced B2B Credit & Collections Specialist for a temp-to-permanent opportunity.This is an excellent opportunity for a strong credit and collections professional who has experience managing a commercial customer portfolio, resolving outstanding balances, and driving timely payments. Construction industry experience is a major plus.ResponsibilitiesManage a portfolio of B2B customer accounts and oversee the full collections processMonitor accounts receivable aging and prioritize collection activityHandle 30, 60, 90, and 120+ day past-due accountsMake collection calls and communicate with customers regarding outstanding balancesNegotiate payment arrangements and resolve account discrepanciesEscalate delinquent accounts when appropriateResearch and resolve billing, payment, and account issuesMaintain accurate and up-to-date customer account recordsWork closely with internal teams including Accounting, Sales, and Customer ServicePrepare and analyze aging reports and collection metricsUse Excel to track, analyze, and report on accounts receivable activityQualifications3+ years of B2B credit and collections experienceStrong understanding of commercial accounts receivable and credit processesExperience working with aging reports and collection escalationsProven experience collecting on accounts that are 30/60/90/120+ days past dueAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong negotiation and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple accounts and prioritize effectivelyProfessional, persistent, and customer-focused approachPreferred QualificationsConstruction industry experience strongly preferred, not requiredExperience working with high-volume B2B accountsExperience with credit analysis, account reconciliation, and dispute resolutionBENEFITSWe offer eligible employees competitive pay and access to a range of benefits and support programs based on assignment type, schedule, length of employment, and eligibility requirements, including medical, dental, vision, prescription coverage, short-term disability, 401(k), employee assistance, childcare assistance, discounts, paid holidays, and longevity bonuses.
