Job Title: Trusts, Wills & Estates Paralegal (Some Real Estate Experience Preferred)
Location: Midwood, Brooklyn, NY (On-Site)
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM / Fridays 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Compensation: $20-21/hour
Duration: 3-Month Contract (with potential for extension)
Start Date: As early as THIS WEEK – Working interview available
Job Overview:
We are seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Paralegal with 1-2 years experience in doing intakes for Trusts, Wills, and Estates and some Real Estate experience to join a well-regarded boutique law firm in Midwood, Brooklyn. This is a full-time, in-office contract role for appx 3 months, ideal for someone who is confident handling estate documents, probate matters, and has some exposure to real estate.
Key Responsibilities:
Draft and review wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
Support attorneys with estate administration and probate filings
Assist with real estate tasks related to estate matters
Organize and maintain legal documents and client files
Communicate with clients, courts, and third parties
Conduct legal research as needed
Requirements:
1–2 years of relevant experience in Trusts, Wills & Estates
Familiarity with real estate transactions is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work on-site full time (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Ready to step in quickly and work efficiently in a legal team environment
