Contract Specialist
On Call Counsel is seeking a Contract Specialist to support the drafting, negotiation, and management of complex legal agreements, while ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and providing sound contract guidance.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal review and ensure compliance with applicable contract laws, regulations, and organizational policies across various contract matters.
- Conduct legal assessments and provide risk analysis to support decision-making and mitigate potential liabilities related to contracts.
- Draft, review, and maintain legal documents such as contracts, agreements, policies, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to contract law standards.
- Maintain and update legal documentation and contract databases to track agreement progress, deadlines, and compliance requirements.
- Assist in the development of legal strategies, reports, and correspondence to support ongoing contract negotiations, enforcement, and organizational initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Admission to the state bar and active licensure to practice law is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in contract law or legal practice related to drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts.
