Patent Attorney
On Call Counsel is seeking a Patent Attorney to advise clients on complex intellectual property matters, advocate for the protection of innovations, and provide sound legal guidance across patent-related work.
Responsibilities
- Provide legal review and ensure compliance with patent laws, regulations, and intellectual property policies across various patent matters.
- Conduct legal assessments and provide risk analysis to support decision-making and mitigate potential intellectual property liabilities.
- Draft, review, and maintain patent-related legal documents such as applications, agreements, licensing contracts, and reports to ensure accuracy and adherence to patent law standards.
- Maintain and update legal documentation and patent databases to track case progress, deadlines, and compliance with intellectual property requirements.
- Assist in the development of legal strategies, reports, and correspondence to support ongoing patent prosecution, litigation, and organizational initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
- Admission to the state bar and active licensure to practice law is required.
- At least 1 year of experience in legal practice
