Workers’ Compensation Attorney (Hybrid – Orange County, CA)
Location: California
Compensation: Competitive base + quarterly bonus

Overview
A rapidly growing, nationally recognized litigation firm is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Attorney to join its California team. This firm is known for its high-quality defense work, industry thought leadership, and long-standing client relationships within the workers’ compensation space.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full caseload of workers’ compensation defense matters from inception through resolution
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including discovery, depositions, hearings, and motion practice
• Appear before Workers’ Compensation Appeals Boards (WCAB) as needed
• Communicate directly with clients, including insurance carriers, employers, and third-party administrators
• Develop case strategy and proactively manage files to resolution
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in a high-volume environment

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school
• Active California Bar admission (required)
• Experience in workers’ compensation defense preferred (open to strong litigation backgrounds)
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Ability to manage a caseload independently in a hybrid/remote environment

Work Structure

• Hybrid model 
• Travel required for hearings, depositions, and occasional in-office meetings
• Office space available if desired
