We are seeking an accomplished, high-caliber Legal Administrative Assistant to join a premier plaintiff’s law firm in Bridgeport, CT. In this key supporting role, you will work hand-in-hand with a Senior Trial Attorney spearheading high-profile, high-impact civil litigation.

Our caseload spans complex, catastrophic matters, including medical malpractice, birth injuries, civil rights violations, public interest lawsuits, severe product liability, mass torts, and landmark class actions. Key Responsibilities

Litigation & Court Procedures

  • Provide end-to-end procedural and administrative management across all phases of litigation.
  • Execute state, federal, and appellate court filings with absolute precision and adherence to local rules and deadlines.
  • Draft intricate appellate briefings, motions, and format discovery requests.

Case Investigation & Evidence Management

  • Coordinate deep-dive case investigations and track critical evidence.
  • Manage complex medical record reviews, organization, and tracking.
  • Maintain hyper-organized case files and document repositories under tight trial deadlines.

Collaboration & Administration

  • Partner directly with the Senior Trial Attorney to manage daily workflow and shifting priorities.
  • Remain calm, composed, and efficient under pressure in a high-stakes environment.
  • Maintain absolute discretion and confidentiality regarding sensitive client and case information.

Candidate Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of litigation experience required, with a proven mastery of state, federal, and appellate court filings and procedures.
  • Industry Background: Prior experience within a plaintiff’s personal injury, medical malpractice, civil rights, or complex civil litigation practice strongly preferred.
  • Core Skills: Exceptional organizational abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and advanced document drafting and formatting skills.
  • Attributes: A forward-thinking, collaborative mindset; the ability to remain calm and adaptable under tight deadlines; and a strong commitment to civil justice and client advocacy.
  • Discretion: Unwavering professional ethics and the ability to maintain absolute confidentiality.
